I’m a highly experienced communicator – calm, authoritative with a reassuring voice. I work as an event host, MC, debate and conference chair / facilitator, media skills trainer, university lecturer, script consultant and voice artist.
I’m a BBC trained journalist who spent more than 30 years presenting and producing live radio programmes. I’ve combined broadcasting with teaching, training and mentoring. Words are my business – writing them, speaking them or recording them. During the final years of my mother’s life I recorded the award-winning podcast ‘Mum and Me: The Dementia Diary’.
I’m well organised and enjoy admin, having (sadly) been executor for six family members over the last decade. I’m a proud Yorkshireman, who loves photography, reading and running.
