I’m a Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Director with more than 20 years’ experience helping organisations communicate more clearly through thoughtful design. After running my own successful studio for over two decades, I’m looking for an opportunity to become part of a creative team again. I enjoy collaborating with marketers, designers, developers and decision-makers—sharing ideas and getting stuck into the day-to-day creative work just as much as leading projects. My work covers branding, websites, packaging, marketing campaigns, typography, print and digital communications.

Industry Experience

Non-Profit Organization, Healthcare, Retail, Media & Entertainment, Professional Services
    Caroline Goyder

We’ve been working with Caroline for more than 15 years, so it’s fair to say we know her work pretty well. Over that time, she’s trusted us to get on with the job. What started as a client relationship has grown into a genuine creative partnership.

Caroline is a speaker, writer and coach whose work has reached millions through her TEDx Talk, national television appearances and international speaking engagements. She’s one of those rare people who can make even the most complex ideas feel simple, approachable and genuinely useful.

Our work together has grown alongside her business. As well as designing and developing her website, we’ve created presentation decks, marketing material, communication assets and digital content that all reflect the same personality people experience when they meet her.

The website acts as the centre of everything, bringing together her books, coaching, speaking and online resources. Around that, we’ve developed a collection of design assets that she can use confidently across every part of her business.

Fifteen years is a long time to work with anyone. It only happens when there’s trust on both sides. We know Caroline’s voice almost as well as she does, and that’s made every project feel less like a commission and more like working alongside a friend.

    Helly Hansen

It’s always a privilege when a global brand trusts you with its work, and that’s exactly what happened with Helly Hansen.

We worked across a range of projects, designing product literature, in-store point of sale and retail graphics that helped bring the brand to life in different environments. Every piece had to feel unmistakably Helly Hansen while working just as hard on a shop floor as it did in someone’s hands.

One of the highlights was creating the identity and external branding for Helly Hansen’s sponsorship of the Watersports Centre at Salford Quays in Manchester. Seeing the work move from screen to large-scale signage, where thousands of visitors would experience it, was especially rewarding.

It’s the sort of project we love. Taking an established global brand, respecting everything that makes it recognisable, then finding ways to apply it across different formats without losing what people already know and trust.

    I Am Autism

Some projects mean a little more than others, and this was definitely one of them.

The team trusted us with something incredibly important. Not just a new logo or a new website, but a completely new identity. Together, we renamed the charity from ASGMA to I AM, creating a name that feels positive, inclusive and full of confidence.

From there, we developed the visual identity, designed and built a new website and created a range of communication and marketing material to help introduce the new brand to the people and communities the charity supports.

Working with the I AM team was an absolute pleasure. They’re some of the kindest, most dedicated people we’ve had the privilege to work alongside, and their commitment to supporting autistic young people and adults across Greater Manchester is obvious from the moment you meet them.

It’s always rewarding to help an organisation tell its story more clearly. It’s even better when you know the people behind it are making such a positive difference every single day.

    RPA Dental

We’ve been working with RPA Dental for more than 20 years, so by now it feels like we’re part of the team rather than an outside agency. They trust us to get on with the job, and that relationship has grown into something far bigger than designing websites.

Over the years we’ve worked across just about every part of the business. Multiple website builds, marketing campaigns, social media, product launches, exhibition graphics, printed literature and day-to-day communications. It’s an ongoing collaboration, with new ideas, new products and new projects always around the corner.

The current website is designed to showcase everything RPA Dental offers, from surgery design and equipment to engineering support and the latest technology. Rather than treating it as a finished project, we see it as something that’s always evolving. We work closely with the team to keep it fresh, adding new products, services, case studies and industry news as the business continues to grow.

Relationships like this don’t happen overnight. They’re built over years of trust, honest conversations and simply getting things done. We’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in RPA Dental’s story, and even prouder that, after all this time, they still pick up the phone whenever they need us.

    Manchester Central Library

This was one of those projects that was a genuine pleasure to be part of.

We were asked to design the literature for a new membership scheme at Manchester Central Library, helping introduce more people to one of the city’s most loved buildings.

The launch was supported by Guy Garvey from Elbow and BBC Radio 6 Music. As regular 6 Music listeners ourselves, that made the project feel even more special. We might even have had Elbow’s beautiful cover of Golden Slumbers on repeat while we were working on it.

Our role was to keep the design simple, welcoming and easy to navigate, letting the library and everything it offers take centre stage.

Some projects stay with you for all sorts of reasons. This one combined great people, a brilliant client and a chance to contribute to one of Manchester’s most iconic public spaces.

    Cobwebs Commercial Cleaning

When Cobwebs First came to us, they already had a great reputation. After more than 20 years in commercial cleaning, they were trusted by businesses across the North West. The problem wasn’t the service. It was that the brand didn’t tell the same story.

This became much more than a website project. We completely reworked the identity, giving the business a fresh, modern look that feels every bit as dependable as the people behind it.

We were keen to avoid making it look like every other cleaning company. Too many websites in the sector use the same colours, the same stock photos and the same promises. We wanted Cobwebs First to have a bit more confidence. Something that felt modern, distinctive and easy to remember without trying too hard.

No fluff. Just an honest reflection of a business that quietly gets on with doing a really good job for offices, education providers and leisure facilities across the North West.

    dB Hearing

The team at Universal dB trusted us to create the identity for the launch of their new ER range of hearing protection, designed specifically for musicians. They already had a great product. Our job was to give it a look that would stand out and feel right at home in the music industry.

We started with the branding before developing the packaging for the launch. It was one of those projects where the ideas came together quickly. The design felt bold, distinctive and instantly recognisable without trying too hard.

The response to the launch was fantastic. Before long, we were extending the original concept across other product ranges, creating a consistent family of packaging that helped strengthen Universal dB’s position in the market.

There’s something especially satisfying about projects like this. They start with a client putting their trust in you and end with work that grows far beyond the original brief.
