    FoldFlop
    FoldFlop — Sustainable Travel Footwear FoldFlop is a sustainable product design project developed during my first year at NAFA, focusing on Singapore’s sustainability goals. The project explores the issue of disposable hotel slippers, which contribute significantly to waste due to their short lifespan and single-use nature. Through user research and journey mapping, I identified frequent travellers as the key target audience, particularly millennials who are more conscious about sustainability and purposeful living. Instead of redesigning the hotel system itself, I focused on creating a reusable, portable indoor footwear solution that travellers could independently carry and use during hotel stays or flights. The project involved extensive ideation, prototyping, and physical testing, with over 50 design iterations explored throughout the year-long process. FoldFlop was developed to balance portability, comfort, hygiene, and sustainability while encouraging more conscious travel habits. This project strengthened my skills in product development, iterative prototyping, user-centred design, and sustainable design thinking.     Timezone Showdown App | 2023 Timezone Showdown is a concept project developed to address Timezone’s challenge of low customer retention and encourage repeat visits to arcade outlets. Through user and trend research, we identified that players were seeking not only entertainment but also a stronger sense of community and competition. Our solution was a mobile app experience that introduced team matchmaking, competitive gameplay, leaderboards, rewards, and social features to create stronger engagement and long-term player connection. My role focused primarily on research analysis, wireframing, and designing the app experience from concept to interface.
