I have a background in illustration and storytelling in pictures. Artwork includes murals, diamond etching and stone carving, paintings and historical renderings. I do illustrative artwork on monuments and headstones. One of my current projects is illustrating Bible Stories for children with ethnic backgrounds. The illustrations are used for Missions in African countries and offered to missionaries around the world. The illustrations are converted to specific ethnic groups as requested. I have also created children's book illustrations that help children understand illnesses like leukemia and sickle cell, and problem-solving stories. As an elementary art teacher for 14 years, I created children's art projects that offered Kindergarten through 6th graders the opportunity to learn real art basics, and how to create with a variety of mediums.
