In a fascinating exploration of the intricate world of artificial intelligence, an AI-generated presenter takes center stage to guide us through the captivating realm of Generative AI. This enthralling video peels back the layers of innovation and ingenuity that have propelled AI into the forefront of modern technology, while also casting a thought-provoking spotlight on the eerie undertones that can emerge from its profound capabilities.
This project captured the extraordinary multidisciplinary performances and live activations curated by Brian Fuata and Latai Taumoepeau for the Art Gallery of New South Wales. The program, MONUMENTAL, brought together curators and artists in a dynamic showcase of live works that engaged not only the audience but also each other, transforming the way visitors experienced the art museum.
I filmed and edited the video which highlights a weekend of surprising, thought-provoking, playful, and captivating moments that reimagined the traditional art museum experience.
The filming took place on Gadigal Country at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, including the installation of rīvus, part of the 23rd Biennale of Sydney 2022.
I filmed and edited the Liquid Languages pre- and post-exhibition learning resources for the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, designed to enable students to engage deeply with the themes of rīvus. These resources empower students to transform their newfound knowledge from the exhibition into creative, localised actions, connecting art-making with their environments.
Liquid Languages spotlights the diverse creative processes of rīvus participants, highlighting art-making approaches developed throughout the Biennale’s 50-year history. Divided into five areas—Found Materials, Sound, New Materials, Mapping, and Words—the resource showcases how artists communicate through varied tools and practices, inspiring student-led learning and action-based research.
Through collaborative, experimental, and interdisciplinary projects, students mirror the collective processes of José Roca, Artistic Director of the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, and the Curatorium. These projects encourage the negotiation of diverse ideas, reflecting the essence of rīvus.
