My career journey began in forestry and then transitioned to horticulture, where I worked tirelessly for ten years. For years, I tried to pursue “safer” paths, believing that trying hard at something practical might make me forget what I loved. I was wrong—and gratefully so. So at thirty-four, I finally gave myself permission to go back to school to study Art Direction. What I bring to the table is more than creative skill. I bring perspective, New York grit, and the lived experience of someone who has returned to their purpose with intention and heart. My work is layered with influences—from the emotional depth of music to the tactile beauty of design— and driven by the goal of creating something that doesn’t just look good but feels good.
