Ash Branston moving image technology expert, with a specialist focus in virtual production with Unreal Engine. Former director of photography at Studio Babelsberg and co-founder of Origin Bridge GmbH and The German Academy of Digital Education GmbH. He additionally works as a producer; consulting, coordinating, designing, producing live shows and recorded formats for clients such as Nike, UEFA, Google Inc., Facebook Inc. Snipes, General Electric, Elsevier. Ash Branston began his career in satellite engineering, technical broadcast, camera, and post-production. He worked as Head of Broadcast and Filming Department for a major TV entertainment group until moving on to the world-renowned Studio Babelsberg in Berlin where he began consulting on the installation and operation of Clauf's augmented reality & virtual production studio. Seeing an opportunity to apply his skills in cinematography and technical production, he stepped into the role of Director of Photography for the company's live-broadcast productions.
