Work Experience

Product Design Intern at Experience Plus
September 1, 2025 - Present
Built an internal AI prototyping agent using Figma MCP, variables, and design tokens to generate system-aligned high-fidelity concepts and accelerate early-stage product evaluation. Scaled the design system by migrating 40 components with semantic spacing and color tokens, improving consistency across products used by 500 users. Consolidated 20 fragmented specification files into a unified web app specs library, reducing documentation overhead and improving efficiency for a 17-person design team. Defined a unified component sizing system across atomic and molecular components to standardize typography, spacing, and interaction patterns.
Product Designer Capstone at Open Learning Initiative

Led the redesign of a student progress dashboard, achieving an 84% homepage usefulness score across 3 evaluation rounds. Designed and launched onboarding for DOT, a digital online tutor in RealChem, increasing student awareness from 44% to 100% and supporting 941 interactions across 373 students. Authored and implemented 79 AI prompts to support guided learning interactions at scale.
UX Research Intern at CMU HCI Institute
November 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025
Conducted exploratory prototyping and classroom research for a multimodal teacher-reflection tool, synthesizing input from 2 teachers and 155 students into actionable design recommendations. Designed and iterated on 6 rounds of activities and research materials, combining qualitative and quantitative findings to inform product and experience design.
UX Design Intern at University of San Diego
June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2024
Conducted 17 user interviews and analyzed 500 sources using affinity mapping, identifying 8 key themes for effective lab experiences.
