    Psychological Ambient Audio Concept for Indie Game Scene

    A short psychological audio concept created for an indie game scene from “A Dog’s Dream.”

    The project was described as a series of strange dreams, combining psychological atmosphere with warm emotional undertones. I chose to focus on a scene about a girl being followed by a traumatic childhood memory.

    I created a short 25-second audio sketch with an unstable, slightly broken sound palette, a repeated anxious motif, and a subtle retro-inspired texture. The goal was not to overpower the scene with music, but to support its psychological tension and surreal tone.

    The client responded positively to the demo and noted that the track captured the intended feeling and matched the atmosphere of the project.

    My role included composition, sound design, and creating the full audio concept.

    The track is built around deep evolving textures, cold atmospheric layers, and a sense of quiet tension. Instead of relying on traditional percussion or fast melodic movement, it focuses on space, mood, and gradual emotional development.

    The piece is suitable for scenes involving loneliness, exploration, alien landscapes, dreamlike forests, abandoned worlds, inner conflict, or slow dramatic storytelling.

    My role included composition, arrangement, sound design, production, mixing, and preparing the track for online use.

    Narrative Ambient Soundtrack for Post-Human Fiction

    An original ambient soundtrack created for a short story set in a post-human world.

    The piece, titled “Gilded Ripple’s End,” was written to support a narrative about a new sentient species choosing coexistence with nature over expansion, conflict, and the ruins of the old world.

    The emotional direction of the track is bright melancholy: calm, fragile, and reflective, but with an underlying sense of loss. I used organic textures, slow harmonic movement, and restrained pacing to create a meditative atmosphere that supports the prose without overpowering it.

    My role included composition, sound design, arrangement, music production, and final mixing.
