My name is Gerard Thomas, currently known as AudioGyd. I have been a creative since the age of 13. Early on I could hear the individual parts that make up a song. My first time in a recording studio I instinctually knew that multitracking was necessary to capture each element of the content that I created. While working out of a popular studio that major recording artists were using, I was fortunate to be working with an engineer who wanted some of my music to play for some of the major artists. One of the artists was a singer and song writer who was writing hit after hit in the late 90’s and early 2k’s. This artist heard my music and immediately began to fly me to New York and LA to work with me. With the artist, I had the privilege of producing and writing with and for some of the most popular singers and rappers being released from the 90’s to the 2k’s, I earned multi platinum, platinum and gold plaques, I also earned one Grammy award certificate. I learned from great writers, recording engineers and mix engineers during that time period. Now I am focused on working as a freelance producer, musician and mix engineer. Working on projects with some very talented, independent, up and coming artists.
