Aurélie Webb is an award-winning British composer based in Los Angeles. Her eclectic yet accessible work draws from a wide spectrum of influences - from bold American minimalism to the timeless sound of Ralph Vaughan Williams, with nods to Radiohead and David Bowie.
Aurélie has worked with filmmakers and artists from around the world, expanding into animation, documentaries, audio dramas, and experimental dance. Her work includes the 2025 Disney Nature feature Guardians of the Galapagos, providing additional music for composer Raphaëlle Thibaut, the 2023 Netflix docuseries Heart of Invictus, where she contributed additional music alongside Emmy-nominated composer Patrick Jonsson, and the hit 2022 podcast What Happened in Skinner, which won Best Indie Podcast at The Ambies.
In 2025 Aurélie won Best Original Score for her theme music for the podcast Twilight Meridian and was co-nominated for Best Scoring In A Scripted Audio Fiction for her work on What Happened In Skinner, both at the New Jersey WebFest. In 2023 she was also honoured with a nomination
for Best Original Score at the 2023 Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival for her work on the short film Mars Falling. In 2022, the documentary Here to Stay, with original score by Aurélie, won a Student Academy Award and a silver medal at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Aurélie was delighted to have received a place in the 2025 cohort of the VIFF Composer Filmmaker Programme.
Alongside her composing career, Aurélie is growing a reputation as a sought-after music editor, collaborating with Emmy-nominated editor Steve Griffen on acclaimed television series like What We Do in the Shadows, Disenchantment, and more for Hulu, FX, and Netflix. She has received an Emmy co-nomination for Outstanding Sound Mixing and Sound Editing for a Live Action Program for her work on the NatGeo show A Real Bug’s Life, alongside James Bladon and Steve Griffen. In 2025 she completed music editorial and additional music work for Sea Lions of the Galapagos and Guardians of the Galapagos for Disney Nature, both of which aired on Disney Plus for Earth Day 2025.
