Digital Imaging Technician and Retoucher at Savannah College of Art & Design

Paid intern for the Visual Media team at Savannah College of Art & Design. In this role I was designated with multiple tasks to support the full time staff photographers, retouching team, stylists, and archive team. My duties included: • Digital technician for photographers. Using Capture One to live cull, keyword, and flag images. • Lighting assistant and grip during various photoshoots across multiple departments such as Fashion Marketing, Athletics, and more in studio and on location. • Assist stylists in organization of prop and wardrobe. • Organization and tidiness of equipment in studio. • Work alongside Archival Team on various tasks. These included scanning of historic film slides and burning CDs to enter into database. Organization of physical media. Organizing metadata for files and adding appropriate keywords according to protocol. • Retouching complex photos before send off to the retouching team for faster workflow and efficiency. This included composites of structures, color-grading, and more.
