Work experience· 6 roles
Frontend engineer for an AI-graded school assessment platform for grades 6–12 built with Angular 17+, Ionic 8, and Capacitor. Built the teacher-facing product from scratch including onboarding, navigation, and a question-generation system spanning 13+ question types. Partnered with backend to reduce worksheet creation time from ~4 minutes to ~1 minute and reduced the initial JS bundle by ~2.3MB using lazy-loading and dependency optimization. Migrated to standalone components and zone-less change detection using Angular Signals, removing NgModules/zone.js dependency. Designed and built an HTML templating engine (Handlebars, Mustache, reveal.js) from scratch as sole engineer. Contributed across platforms (PEEK AZOO and others) and owned CI/CD tooling, leading code reviews within Agile Scrum delivery.
Built and shipped core UI screens for The Startup Club, a mobile networking app, delivering a consistent experience across iOS and Android using React Native and Expo. Collaborated with a 4-member cross-functional engineering team to ship features in fast, iterative cycles.
