Bachelor's Degree in Film Art at Emerson College & Paris College of Art

During Emerson's Global Bachelor's of Film Arts program, I lived in Boston, Paris, and the Netherlands. This three-year program is year round. The first summer is spent on Emerson's Boston campus. The school years are spent in Paris, studying at Paris College of Art. And the third summer is spent at Emerson's Kasteel Well in the Netherlands. In Paris, we live on our own, having no meal plan or campus to fall back on. This forces students like myself to become independent and self-sufficient very quickly. Additionally, I had to adapt to a different culture and learn a new language. This adjustment exercised and strengthened my flexibility. It also expanded my perspective, especially during my time at Kasteel, as we had frequent trips to other European countries. The curriculum itself also focuses on independence, with at least one self-led short film production per semester. This gave me the skills to manage, coordinate and produce creative projects.
