Hi, I'm Avionne Akanbi, a character animator and illustrator based in Washington, DC.
About
Hi, I’m Avionne Akanbi, a character animator and illustrator based in Washington, DC. I have over a decade of experience in freelance illustration work, and I’ve collaborated with organizations like the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and ReelWorld film festival. My passion lies in creating animated and illustrated media that helps tell stories and educate people of all ages.
I specialize in both 2D animation and 3D character design, and I’ve produced my own independent animated short film called “I Love You”, which gained international distribution. Beyond animation, I have hands-on media production skills from working with Fox 61 Tennessee, handling everything from set design to camera operation. I look forward to bringing my creativity and community-driven approach to your organization.
