About
My name is Aya, and I am a mixed-media animation & design artist with 6 years of experience in the animation industry. I was raised in Brooklyn, where I attended music and art schools, and CalArts for a bachelor’s degree in Character Animation. I’ve been immersed in creative power all my life.
I have worked with various clients, such as Netflix, Titmouse, Adult Swim, and Shadow Machine, creating fun designs and captivating stories for countless characters. Over the past year, I’ve been teaching students at the School of Visual Arts, where I explain how to make films and bring their stories in their heads to life.
