I am Barbara J Weber, a film composer and storyteller from Brooklyn, NY. I began on the violin in the public school system, then trained at the High School of Performing Arts and Juilliard, shaping a career that weaves music with narrative magic. My first full-feature scoring project, Let Me Out, directed by David Feldman, announced my voice as a composer who elevates storytelling through music. Since then I have scored more than 30 productions and appeared at Cannes and the New York Indie Film Festival, and I directed and produced the documentary A World Within a World: The Bay Houses of Long Island, which PBS featured in Treasures of New York.
