Benjamin Nixon

Hi, I’m Benjamin Nixon, an award-winning stop motion animator with hands-on expertise in model-making and armature puppetry. I’ve gained substantial experience in content creation and filmmaking through Perth-based production houses and running my own animation brand, Blue Staircase Animations. I pride myself on being deeply involved across pre-production, production, and post-production as a collaborative member of a team.

My strengths include stop motion, writing, directing, set design, cinematography, film editing, and sound design, underpinned by strong communication and problem-solving skills.
