I'm Ben Schulz. I worked as an audio engineer in a live sound and studio setting for 4 years before becoming involved in writing, co-writing, and performing with a band called Socktopus. I was the mix engineer for their 2 track EP "The Garlic Bread B-Sides" and co-wrote their song "90s (New Millenium Club Mix)". My studio work was primarily mixing live stream audio for bands with direct output to the internet. They would be playing live for a room, and I would mix them seperately for a more live stream friendly sound. Aside from that I've done multi-track recording, mixing, and a lot of audio editing for podcasts, lectures, and short videos. I currently work as a (non-musical) hardware engineer, but do side projects in mixing and recording for friends as well as my own production in electronic music under the name Benjalz.
