I live in Dunedin and, for the past 10 years, I’ve been a freelancer working with several clients. My services are broad: creative direction, brand design and implementation, website design, UX and UI design, and software design. In recent years I’ve added project management to the mix, and I work with clients including Otago Polytechnic, Otago Polytechnic Auckland International Campus, Future Skills, Study Dunedin, Business South and Winning Teams. Born in Dunedin, New Zealand and raised in Bluff (on our world famous oysters), I’ve been in the design industry for 30+ years. I’m a true Gemini—an mix of introvert and extrovert. Small details and big picture. Practical and creative. I love to find creative solutions and to add value to everything I do. I have an occasional sideline business in home wares called Mick and Maude. I create cushions, wall hangings, bowls and baskets using crochet, hooked wool, embroidery, macrame, and sewing.
