    uniE621 SPACETIME
https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/1077879654 The Dutch Black Hole Consortium is closely involved in the plans to build a giant underground telescope capable of detecting gravitational waves, the Einstein Telescope. These waves can, among other things, provide insights into the origins of the universe and the properties of black holes. Since gravitational waves and the specific telescopes that can measure them are not yet widely known to the public (unlike the "classic" optical telescope often seen in alien movies), the DBHC consortium wanted to make them accessible through a film for a broad audience. This film clearly illustrates how these new telescopes effectively give Earth "ears," in addition to the "eyes" it already has with classical telescopes for visible light. This way, even the darkest regions of the universe become visible. The film was developed for the Earth Theater of the DISCOVERY MUSEUM in Kerkrade and adapted for regular projection on a 4K, DOME or HD screen. The film is narrated in four languages: Dutch, French, English, and German.
