Hi, I’m Mario Bajardi. I am a violinist, composer, electroacoustic musician, and sound designer. In 2001 I founded the Electronic Music Laboratory at the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo and I have contributed to a wide range of projects from the festival circuit to film and theatre, including WOMAD 2002 and ICMC2002 (BjM Violin Studio 7).
I continue to create immersive soundscapes for concerts, exhibitions, and film, with recent works like SCHENGEN, VORTEX, and collaborations with institutions such as the Monira Foundation in New York. I love blending acoustic violin with electronic textures and storytelling through sound for visual media and live performance.
