I run tiny_microbist, an independent science communication project focused on translating microbiology into concise, visual reference cards.
A lot of educational content online is either buried under dry academic jargon or diluted with synthetic, AI-generated imagery. My project presents verified microorganisms - from industrial fermentation strains to extremophiles - using authentic micrographs and physical scale references, such as the cross-section of a human hair. I break down their morphology, metabolic traits, and biotechnology applications using cited scientific literature, direct explanations, and dry humor.
It functions as an applied communication portfolio that proves my ability to convert complex biological data into clear, accurate media, while serving as a disciplined framework to expand my own mastery of microbial physiology.
