    As the Music Director of the Festival dubbed WAR Festival, held on 31st of May 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, I had the privilege of curating and leading an unforgettable live musical experience. The event brought together a diverse lineup of talented artists, blending genres ranging from Afro-fusion, gospel and funk, into a cohesive and vibrant showcase of sound and culture.

    The edition was especially significant as it featured a live recording, capturing the raw energy and authentic performances of the night. I was responsible for arranging and directing the music across all sets, coordinating rehearsals, and ensuring seamless transitions between acts. Working closely with the audio engineers, I helped maintain high-quality sound throughout the event to preserve the integrity of the live production.

    The result was a powerful and emotionally resonant performance that not only thrilled the live audience but is now immortalised in a professionally produced live album. The experience highlighted the importance of collaboration, precision, and creativity—qualities I bring to every project I’m part of.
