I was born in New York City and raised just outside Montreal. I began piano lessons at age 6 and soon performed in bands across Montreal and New York, which sparked my path into writing and producing music for TV and film. I studied classical and jazz piano at Vanier College before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, where I also cultivated an interest in electronic composition and scoring for film.
After founding a Middle School electronic music program at Carthage Middle School, I moved to New York City for a Master’s in Film Scoring and Music Technology at NYU. There I scored student films, worked in independent film and television, and joined Stephen Schwartz as a versatile music professional. My career has since spanned animation scoring, award-nominated and winning work for Bubble Guppies, the 3 Bahadur trilogy, and Emmy-winning documentary scores for The Oregonian, among many other projects. I currently create from my Harlem studio, exploring electronic, classical, rock, pop, and jazz across genres.
