Hi, my name is Richard Giard, aka Blue Suzaku, I'm an illustrator and cartoonist specialize in manga. Character creation and fashion design are my two biggest passions. They are reflected a lot through my creations. Although I focus a lot on illustrations in particular, I developed a strong interest in Japanese comics by watching works such as BLAME!, Vampire Hunter D and many others. Comics are a way for me to describe my characters in my own way and to tell their stories. I am currently working on two personal projects: the first: “Between the Skyland”, a horrific bio-dieselpunk, and the second: “Boa Lavender”, centered on the supernatural. For these, I create a lot of concept art for each of my characters. I create them from head to toe, both visually and in terms of their screenplay background. Every detail is important.
