About

My name is Robert Fraser (Bobby Broadway) and I am a freelance colorist & editor in Denver, CO.

I am interested in finding out more about your color/editor needs and if I could be a fit.

Long hours, often working alone in dark rooms, immense pressure to make deadlines, temperamental clients…I love it!

As both an editor and a colorist, my work often lives at the intersection of technology and art. And because I have also spent many years behind the camera, I have a better understanding than most of the entire production process.
With over 15 years experience, I still remain highly passionate and dedicated to mastering the disciplines of carefully shaping and combining imagery, color, and sound. To me, my work is so much more than using edits to tell a story or correcting any errors in color, matching shots or even creating style and depth. I truly believe that my job is ultimately designed to help the entire production team forge an emotional connection with the viewer, helping to leave them with a memorable, lasting and valuable filmed experience. I strive to help create experiences that the entire team can be proud of while creating the kind of work that actually matters to people from all walks of life.

Thanks for you time and look forward to furthering this conversation.

Best, Robert

A+E VOICES MAGNIFIED “The Faces” 2023

I had the great pleasure of working on this campaign for A+E Network via Friends of Mine (Denver). As I reflect upon this time, I came to realize that starting on this project during the pandemic made it especially important and intimate. In fact, to be able to help the producers tell these beautiful stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things reminded me how fragile life really is. Ultimately the work demonstrates how these seemingly ordinary and singular people are actually real-life heroes to many others. I believe the world can use more content like this! The dreamy quality of the music by Dirty Art Club (“Intl Ashtray”) adds a sense of underlying calm and perhaps a vibe of “everything is going to be alright after all” to the filmed experience.
