Boris Meshkov is an independent director and musician based in Bangkok. His recent work includes the award-winning horror short Crush and the sci-fi/cyberpunk film series 3000, in development for five years. He’s directed music videos for Vietnamese pop stars, hip hop and indie acts, as well as documentaries on Thai food and history, with over 20 years of experience. He fronts punk band HELP and plays in various side projects. Born in Ulyanovsk, Russia, Boris began as a child TV host at 7, studied film, music, and photography from 15, hitchhiked across 20 countries, and lived in five. He worked in China as a teacher and videographer, then in Vietnam as a director from 2020–2022.
