Hi, I’m Borja Medina de las Heras. I’m currently pursuing a Master in Bioinformatics at Lund University and I’m actively applying AI to chemistry and biology, with hands-on experience in the Molecular AI group at AstraZeneca and as an iGEM ambassador across Europe.
I’m passionate about data-driven biology, scalable language models for chemistry, and community-building in science. In addition to research, I contribute to initiatives like Synapse and mentor teams in iGEM Lund, blending computational skills with lab knowledge to advance life sciences.
