PLEASE STAND BY : THE RE-EVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVSIED
Inspired by the philosophies of Alan Watts, this exhibition explores the concepts of evolution and time, highlighting humanity’s role as part of the natural cycle rather than above it. Once we follow the rabbit through the matrix, we can begin to understand the notion of alternate timelines and how our actions influence possible routes. Using the imagery of Solarpunk and Cyberpunk aesthetics the following illustrations depict how we as humans should use technology in accordance with Nature as opposed to the obstruction of it–leading towards a more distopian lifestyle as the Doomsday Clock ticks forward. May we then begin to process the abstraction of a Feedback Loop, where Nature is the only constant, with or without Mankind. In the end, Earth will reclaim what was taken.

“ Lack of awareness of the basic unity of organism and environment is a serious and dangerous hallucination For in a civilization equipped with immense technological power, the sense of alienation between man and nature leads to the use of technology in a hostile spirit.” -Alan Watts

    fossil&stone REVIVAL
Each element of this deck of playing cards was painted by hand and digitally collaged to create a fully playable deck of standard playing cards inspired by Victorian Gothic architecture and fossils. Soft-touch laminated and debossed elements decorate the tuckbox while the stained glass elements on the back of the cards are holo-foil. illustrator watercolor productDesign playingcards cardart victorianGothic fossils https://www.twine.net/signin
    Trade-off Poster
This Independent film Poster was painted by hand in watercolor on cold pressed illustration board. The main Typeface was created by another local artist in collaboration with the film. This poster strongly reflects key elements of the movie by utilizing saran-wrap, comic book grading slabs and portraits of the two main protagonists directly cut from a pivotal scene to reflect the themes and emotions of the film. This project required extreme communication and underwent many revisions before the final outcome. illustrator movieposter movie film independentfilm watercolor comicbook texture portrait
    Coffeehouse FIVE package design
Working closely with the owners and roasters of the cafe, this bag design was painted by hand, in the round, before combining each side to create a coffee bag that looked unique and fit the tone of the cafe on each side. The goal was to create a bag that stood out on the shelves yet retained a limited color palette.
