Hey my name is Greg Brookshire, and I have a unique background that has allowed me to gain some experiences that would be relevant to what you all are working towards. I am a producer/musician and had a brief artist run while living in London. I started a band called 2morrows Victory, that Gilles Peterson endorsed. We played known festivals like Applesap and Gilles Peterson’s own Worldwide Fest. Since I have lived back in the US (Chicago / Milwaukee area) I have been focusing mainly on session work as a musician and producing. I’ve landed instrumental and production work on a number of tracks on Lupe Fiasco’s 8th and 9th studio albums with a bulk of work done on Drill Music in Zion. I have experience releasing my own music through DSPs (search Brahmulus on most platforms to find) and also would like to break into the composition/sync world.
