A brand evolution for an energy company in a net zero world
The collage system is a new visual framework designed to illustrate and articulate SSE’s journey of energy.
Layers within the collage system plot the beginnings of energy in nature, to the infrastructure and technology used to harness and amplify the sources of energy nature gifts us, to the human story – the people behind the scenes, working hard every day to deliver secure, green, home grown energy to homes and businesses across the UK and Ireland.
Overall, the brand story sets out a view of a broader energy ecosystem, where nature, energy and people are interconnected and interdependent.
EATS is a Dundee University based research project that uses design thinking, design methodologies and sensing technology, to identify and make visible Net Zero related opportunities and risks found within the agri-food supply chain.
The goal - to promote pro-environmental behaviours within the sector, and through new discoveries and solutions, potentially reconfigure supply chain models to better meet Net Zero standards.
The research primarily focuses on businesses trading in the production of pork, soft fruit and brewing within the Tayside area.
CEIS campaign
Delivered by Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS) (the UK’s largest and most experienced social enterprise support agency) and Interface, who specialise in facilitating collaborations between business and academia, the Inclusive Innovation Programme is a programme of sector specific seminars designed to attract and support innovative ideas from the third sector.
Specifically, ideas that have the potential to create positive environmental and societal change.
We provided the campaign concept - Good ideas that do good, messaging and visual assets.
Birnam Arts
A brand evolution to renew, re-energise and refocus Birnam Arts as a vibrant, multi disciplinary Arts Centre.
Referencing shapes from the building itself, and colour from the landscape around Perthshire, we wanted to be playful and create compositions that at times feel experimental, confident, unexpected and a bit different.
