Empty stares burn
I’ve lost the fight

Slashed from feeling
Already kneeling
To stand takes all my might

I hold the lie close to me
Embrace the false memory
Fold the pages of reality
How did i let you get to me

I want you to know, i want you to see
I want you to suffer and plead
I want you to feel it
The miserable insanity of need

Shouting from the mountain
Let the world see
Words spewing from the fountain
I took them for me

I know now what you are
Just another wound on me
Open scars bleed in the open sea

Reckless anger strips my control
I’ve got more to say
More blood to bleed

I know what you are
Lost soul hidden on the ramparts
The gate is closed to all

Wonder why you felt the need
