Buddhika Sandaruwan

I am a professional saxophonist and musician from Sri Lanka with extensive experience performing jazz, pop, standards, lounge music, and contemporary music. I have been performing on saxophone since 2009 and have worked as a solo artist, with cover bands, alongside DJs, and with larger ensembles in hotels, resorts, yachts, and live entertainment venues across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Laos, and Dubai.

I am also passionate about music education and have taught instrumental technique, scales, sight-reading, music theory, and performance preparation. My background includes formal studies in Western Music, ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall examinations, music arrangement, recording, rehearsals, and performing on multiple instruments. I enjoy creating memorable musical experiences for audiences while helping students and fellow musicians grow with confidence.
