Rap Artist & Producer (university project track) at SAE University
February 23, 2025 - April 6, 2025
This university project was one of my first projects when starting my diploma of music at SAE University. It was a music demo project with the goal of creating a full demo by ourselves, from the production and melodies to the song writing and lyrics and finally recording (recording was optional). I decided to use this very first project to show the university my current skill set and current knowledge in creating tracks as I had already released 3 albums by this time and was eager to learn new skills to improve my production! This song has since now been released on all major platforms under the same “Street Techniques” giving listeners the nostalgia of old school grimy Boom Bap based hip hop staying authentic to the sound of the 1990s.     paper Street Theatre Act 1 - BUGZ & RICKAMORTIS

    This collaborative album was a full album release by Rickamortis & myself (Bugz). It was the first collaboration project I was apart of, with It’s inspiration stemming from old school horror movies, dark street stories and melodic sample based hip hop beats throughout.

    I was a main artist and songwriter for this project appearing on all tracks, Rickamortis was also a main artist as well as the producer and beat maker, I also had a lot of input into the production side and beat making for the entire project.
    I also created the album cover artwork, and believe this album really helped push my growth as an artist and songwriter!

    paper Street Techniques - Single

    This single was originally written and made for one of my first SAE University projects, I was the sole songwriter, mixing and mastering engineer and producer for the entire project.

    This track was inspired by old school 90s Boom-Bap with intention to show off my skill sets as a lyricist and producer staying true to the old school style that I grew up listening to.
    Due to it being a University project I have an extensive documentation of the project and how it was created and my thoughts throughout the creative process.

    This project at the time was my best piece of work and although I have since improved production skills and songwriting abilities, it still is one of my favourite tracks to listen to.
