I graduation Okanagan College’s Animation Program, where for two years I trained to be part of the industry pipeline. In the tutelage of industry professionals, I was taught efficient workflows to create multiple animations and designs for layout and characters under tight deadlines, placing twice on the Deans List. I have mentored under industry professionals, learning the importance of solid drawing techniques, compositional skills and body mechanics with strong posing were stressed. I have found that understanding how each character is constructed and drawing them in multiple perspectives and extreme views are useful as an animator, and this allowed me to discover solutions to problems when animating. Along with Autodesk Maya, I am adept in Toon Boom Harmony with animating characters and effects, as well creating character rigs. I can also well create animatics in Storyboard Pro and I also have proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premier. In the time since I have started the Animation Program, I have created over dozen animations in both Maya and Harmony that show my understanding of the animation principles. I previously worked as a Lot Associate at Westbank Home Depot. Here I was responsible for not only collecting shopping carts, as well helping co-coworkers and customers locate items, loading merchandise and restocking. These proved my ability to work in a hectic environment with coordinating duties that were time sensitive. I’ve been apart of the marketing team for the 2026 BC Summer Games in Kelowna, where I created graphic design materials for the style guide
