    RhythmiQ Music Discovery App

I completed this project within three weeks on a team of five, aiming to create a high-fidelity prototype. My contributions included user research, analysis, wireframing, design iteration based on feedback. We began with a competitor analysis of existing music discovery platforms, which revealed a lack of originality in recommendations despite varied features. Through brainstorming, we identified our target user: someone with a unique music taste seeking indie artists. Recognizing the low likelihood of users switching streaming apps, we focused RhythmiQ on discovery that integrates with existing platforms. User interviews (n=5) highlighted the inadequacy of current algorithms in meeting music enthusiasts’ needs. The desired outcome was a user-friendly, efficient platform recommending new and unconventional artists. This led to the development of an app allowing users to swipe through similar songs and discover new artists. My deliverables included a user flow, low-fidelity prototype, a style guide (informed by a moodboard), and, ultimately, a high-fidelity prototype refined through usability testing.

    Customer Information Exchange Tool

I led end-to-end product design for an internal UPS Information Exchange tool aimed at streamlining brokerage hold clearance and improving communication between customers and operations teams. I conducted stakeholder interviews with brokerage, operations, and customer service teams to identify pain points in the clearance process. I synthesized user research into clear problem statements and user flows, focusing on reducing delays caused by missing or incorrect documentation. I designed intuitive, scalable interfaces that enabled customers to securely upload required documents and respond to requests. I created wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma. I led usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and iterated based on user feedback. I collaborated closely with product managers and engineers to ensure feasibility and smooth implementation. I designed supporting features such as automated email notifications to prompt user action and reduce idle time. I helped define success metrics and tracked improvements post-launch.
