Patrick Burns

Hi there — I’m a composer, arranger, and music director with extensive experience creating clear, playable arrangements for mixed ensembles and young or non-professional musicians.

I regularly write and arrange for combinations of strings, winds, guitar, and rhythm section, with a strong focus on balance, idiomatic writing, and musical clarity. I’m very comfortable with the ranges and technical considerations of guitar, bass guitar, cello, and clarinet, and I enjoy shaping arrangements where each instrument has a meaningful, engaging role.

I work primarily in Finale and can deliver a clean full score and individual parts as PDFs within your 10-day timeline. I’m highly detail-oriented, communicative, and accustomed to working on tight deadlines.
