I am a multimedia journalist and producer whose work spans independent international reporting and documentary filmmaking. My coverage has included interviews with North Korean escapees, relief and recovery reporting after the 2015 Nepal earthquakes, border protests between Nepal and India, and reporting from Greece and Germany on the refugee crisis. My documentary work includes a Webby Award–winning film on Nepal’s Honey Hunters, and my most recent documentary, The Fallen Fortress, which aired in Japanese on domestic Japanese broadcasts and in English via NHK World.
