TUI is a travel agency which includes hotels and resorts, aircraft and cruise liners. They were in a startup
process to develop a platform for hotel owners to increase their onboarding processes. Most of these
onboarding tasks were manual and needed to be automated to increase efficiency.
I worked on the frontend strategy, architecture and tools. Building both frontend solutions as well as
backend micro services in NodeJS. With tools and technologies like GraphQL and Strapi. The complex
data structures needed to be translated into usable UI interfaces. To achieve this there was tight
collaboration between stakeholders and the team.

Eriks is one of the biggest industrial service providers in the world and active in 20 countries with 350
offices. Their assortment includes 700.000 products from which part of this is sold through their
webshop. Together with different scrum teams we worked on solutions for IoT , guided buying solutions,
knowledge environments and webshops.
I worked for the webshops development teams to deliver incremental features for the shops
(multilingual) as well as leading the frontend teams. Those incremental features were going from a java
template environment to a ReactJS application. I was steering the teams with architectural decisions and
solutions as well as doing knowledge transfer sessions and cross teams code reviews. Secured code
with extensive unit test and code coverage.

Premium Cards Group is a young organization for the development and marketing of gift cards. They
have engaged Touchtribe for the development of a new webshop platform that allows them to launch
new online shops faster. They have teamed up with SaaS service providers, Storyblok and Bigcommerce.
With the help of these SaaS providers, I have set up an architecture in which there is 1 codebase and a
design system. With this system, different headless webshops can be built, each with their own style.
Thanks to this architecture, we were able to accelerate the roll-out of new shops from a few months to a
week. I set up and managed a team of 5 developers for this.

Tyd is a Dutch platform to support the Dutch deaf community. They want to bridge the gap between
hearing and non-hearing by offering courses and e-learning programs. I developed a tailor-made online
learning environment with support for subscriptions, integration with payment provider Mollie and a fully
customizable way to offer (video) courses with a timeline. This means that they can control when the
user can go to the next lesson/chapter after taking certain lessons. From architecture for the database
(headless cms) to developing all frontend/backend integrations and setting up the deployment flow
together with GIT and Vercel was done by me. All critical code has been tested with Jest.

AthenaStudies supports students by offering tutoring to improve their performance during exams. They
do this at different levels of study, from primary school to university. For this, they have multiple
platforms to support this. The assignment was to further extend these platforms in the front-end area
and advise on their architecture.

Within Deloitte, there are several units that want to use generative AI. These could be things like
extracting tables from documents, generating summaries and analyzing documents. The “open-source”
tool built for this purpose lacked an attractive front-end. I designed and developed this in NextJS using a
REST api running on Django (python). For another project within Deloitte, the Regminer project, I
implemented a search engine. This search engine used artificial intelligence and was using ZetaAlpha as
an engine.
