I'm a web developer, designer, and brand marketer who works across the whole stack of building a brand — not just one slice of it. For the last several years I've run marketing, branding, and design as a solo operator, which means I've had to be equally comfortable writing the code, designing the identity, and planning the campaign that ties it together. On the development side, I build and maintain websites that are fast, clean, and conversion-focused. On design, I create brand systems — logos, visual identity, collateral — that stay consistent everywhere they show up. And on marketing, I handle the strategy end: positioning, digital campaigns, and content that actually moves the needle. Because I've owned all three, I understand how they connect. A site isn't just a build; it's a brand touchpoint and a marketing tool. If you want someone who sees the full picture, let's talk. A few things to check before you post it: Twine lets you pick specialisms and list individual skills/software separately, so keep the bio focused on positioning and put the specific tools (your CMS, design software, ad platforms, etc.) in the skills fields rather than cramming them into the prose. I deliberately kept it non-specific about employer and years so it works as a freelance-facing profile — if you'd rather name Nyne Hotels or give a concrete number of years, tell me and I'll work it in. I'd just want you to confirm the exact figure rather than have me guess it. Want me to tailor the tone (more corporate, more casual, more premium/luxury) or trim it to a specific character limit? Twine's About field has a cap, so if you tell me the limit I'll fit it exactly.

I’m a web developer, designer, and brand marketer who works across the whole stack of building a brand — not just one slice of it. For the last several years I’ve run marketing, branding, and design as a solo operator, which means I’ve had to be equally comfortable writing the code, designing the identity, and planning the campaign that ties it together.

Because I’ve owned all three, I understand how they connect. A site isn’t just a build; it’s a brand touchpoint and a marketing tool. If you want someone who sees the full picture, let’s talk.

Table by Taru → Table by Nyne — Restaurant Brand & Website

Table by Taru was the founder-led fine-dining restaurant at Lake Lodge in Colombo — a personal, chef-driven brand that became one of the city’s well-regarded dining rooms and a fixture of its brunch scene. [I built/managed the tablebytaru.com website and its digital presence, and] I led its evolution into Table by Nyne, carrying the restaurant’s reputation and loyal following across to the wider Nyne Hotels group identity without losing what made it distinctive. Times magazine top 5 restaurants in Colombo. The project is a study in brand evolution: taking an intimate, personality-driven restaurant brand and repositioning it under a group umbrella while protecting its equity.

Eco Hive — Sustainability Consultancy Brand & Website

Eco Hive is a Sri Lankan sustainability consultancy helping buildings, businesses and communities become more energy-efficient and climate-resilient. The site presents the consultancy across three service pillars — a building-efficiency “clinic,” a training academy, and a digital-media arm — with a clear, benefit-led homepage and a content-marketing blog engine. The blog is deliberately targeted at the hospitality sector, with articles on hotel green certification, decarbonisation and water conservation aimed at attracting eco-conscious European travellers to Sri Lankan hotels — pairing sustainability expertise with practical SEO-driven content strategy.

Table by Nyne – The Beach — Oceanfront Dining Website & Content System

Table by Nyne – The Beach is an oceanfront restaurant on the Bentota coast, positioned to draw walk-in diners as well as hotel guests. I built its digital content system end to end so the online experience matched the setting. That included the website copy and its SEO architecture — meta descriptions plus structured JSON-LD schema for search visibility — an on-site AI chatbot trained on custom prompts to handle guest questions, and the Terms & Conditions and Privacy pages.

The centrepiece was a set of three experiential dining menus built as bespoke HTML pages — Seafood BBQ, Beach BBQ and Island Table — designed so the menu itself felt like part of the beachfront occasion rather than a static PDF. To give the brand a consistent visual library, I also developed a detailed photoshoot brief scoping the shots the site and social channels needed, and produced supporting social content including a World Ocean Day reel that tied the restaurant’s coastal identity to its setting.

LVIA (Luxury Villas in Asia) — Villa Collection Website & Booking Role

LVIA is a luxury villa collection. I developed the property listings on a Wix CMS and built the booking widgets — jQuery UI datepickers integrated with the Swiftbook engine, using an iframe expand/restore pattern and an HTTPS/CDN fix for reliable embedding. I also created the LVIA brand guidelines (Heritage Gold and Tropical Teal palette, Cormorant Garamond display with Montserrat body, and a defined tone of voice), so the site’s design and the brand system stayed consistent. A good example of front-end build and brand identity handled together.

Barracuda Diving Centre - Website & Digital Presence Role: Web content & local SEO

Barracuda Diving Centre is a PADI dive school in Hikkaduwa offering courses, fun dives, snorkelling and boat trips. I manage its digital presence — website content and its Google Business Profile — and led a local-SEO cleanup, correcting inconsistent business name, address and phone details that had been scattered across directories and listings, so the centre surfaces correctly and consistently in local and map search. The focus was making a small, independent operator easy to find and trust online.

    https://www.tablebynyne.com

Table by Nyne is an experiential dining concept where every touchpoint needs to feel deliberate, and I owned the branding and design across its digital footprint.

I developed the brand’s website and full content suite — including its SEO architecture (meta descriptions and structured JSON-LD schema), an AI chatbot trained on custom prompts, and the legal groundwork of terms and privacy pages. On the design side, I created a set of experiential dining menus as bespoke HTML pages — Seafood BBQ, Beach BBQ, and Island Table — so the menu itself became part of the brand experience rather than an afterthought.

Beyond the site, I produced the supporting brand assets: a set-menu presentation deck backed by a live pricing model, a detailed photoshoot brief to build a consistent visual library, and campaign creative including a World Gin Day collaboration and World Ocean Day social content.

The result is a cohesive brand identity that carries from the website through to every menu, deck, and campaign.
