My name is Chase Wainscott. I work as a freelance Production Sound Mixer, having worked on over 15 student productions and multiple independent projects. I am also a Dolby Atmos Certified re-recording mixer/mix technician, and my post-production experience includes multiple Dialogue Editing and Sound Effects Editing credits.
For my Dolby Atmos Certification course at SCAD, we were tasked with creating a full 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos mix using External Renderer workflow. We were given a 2014 SCAD VFX Thesis film that had already had full sound design on it, but no mixing, and were tasked with mixing it in Dolby Atmos. I mixed this film alongside my mix partner, Jacob Mains.
