I’m You Chen, currently on a gap year before starting my B.A. in Anthropology at Macalester College. My interests center on gender studies and human rights, and I enjoy translating research into accessible content that helps people think, learn, and engage. Through roles in editorial leadership and community programming, I’ve built experience supporting awareness-focused projects, from publishing articles to coordinating workshops and seminars. I also work at the intersection of storytelling and community action—editing and curating gender and LGBTQ+ materials, designing outreach content, and helping organize large events like the Gender Fair.
