I'm Chicca, a freelance artist from Italy. My work is deeply inspired by anime, manga and danmei novels, as well as video games and narrative-driven RPGs, with a particular focus on storytelling. I hold a degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage and have worked on multiple art restoration projects in Italy, an experience that strongly influences my respect for traditional art, symbolism, and cultural context. Illustration, however, has always been my primary vocation. I currently collaborate with publishing houses, and I have created cover illustrations for numerous Italian editions of Asian novels, particularly Thai BL and GL titles that were later adapted into television series, such as 2gether, A Tale of a Thousand Stars, Manner of Death, Vice Versa, I Feel You Linger in the Air, Transplant, Memoir of Rati, and The Sign. I participate as artist and merch designer in international comic and pop culture conventions, including Dokomi (Düsseldorf), Milan Games Week, Doujin Market (Singapore), and MCM London and Birmingham. I work primarily with Procreate and Clip Studio Paint, and I am also proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
