I'm Christopher Succee, a filmmaker and history enthusiast based in London, Ontario. I fuse history and cinema to spark curiosity and critical thinking, crafting stories that explore how ideas shape culture and how film shapes our understanding of the past. I aim to ignite passion in others by blending these disciplines and showing how film can illuminate historical contexts. My work blends historical inquiry with creative storytelling. I use film to explain history and history to contextualize cinema, creating a loop that fuels enthusiasm for both subjects. Work Experience

Film Director & Videographer at 0611Studios
January 1, 2025 - Present
At 0611Studios I write and direct short films for artistic expression and exploration. I fund these projects through freelance videography and editing for clients I have acquired through word of mouth and work connections.
Outreach Coordinator at Voices
January 1, 2023 - January 1, 2023
Voices was a documentary production which focused on Ukrainian refugees living in Ontario. My job was to reach out to prospective interview subjects and to gather signatures for release forms.
Tutor at Freelance
January 1, 2018 - January 1, 2024
Throughout my post-secondary study period I earned money through tutoring world history and English (and later film theory) to students from various age, education and national backgrounds. I specialized in ESL, 20th century history, film history and 19th century European history. During my time as a freelance tutor I developed material uniquely catered to each of my clients to meet their respective outcome expectations and areas of keen interest. The vast overlap of the areas I tutored allowed me to easily relate to pupils in their learning journey and develop material they were intrigued by and thus activated to learn more quickly.
