I was born in Caracas, Venezuela in September 1947 and have spent decades in cinema and TV as a producer, director, and entrepreneur. I produced and directed three feature films and more than a dozen shorts, led TV programs and series, and founded networks like LAIN and Cinemania that connect Latin American independent content with audiences around the world.
I’ve served as a festival juror in Spain, France, Canada, Iran, Belgium, the USA, and Venezuela, and helped organize and grow events such as The Vanguard Film Festival and The Miami Latino Film Festival. Today I manage and program over 20 streaming and social media video channels, including Cinemania.TV and Audiolibros.TV, continuing to champion Latin American storytelling.
