L Drew is a writer and filmmaker from Brooklyn, New York, who is currently located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Art has been their passion and dream since a young age. They grew up in an artistic household which allowed them to express themself with many forms of art, which later evolved into a deep passion for filmmaking and writing. L studied both at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduating with a BFA in film with a minor in creative writing. During their time in college, they were the author and illustrator of Design and Destroy with over 12,000 copies sold. They have worked independently for companies and individuals making music videos, book trailers, and other media-based projects. L also had experience working with Line Break Media as their production intern from October 2023 to May 2024. They were able to work as grip and gaff support, sound recordist, camera operator, general p.a work, and assembly cut editing for them during their time as an intern.
