I’m a Research Analyst with a background in plant and soil science and a strong focus on climate change adaptation, carbon project development, and ecosystem restoration. I hold a BSc in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Stellenbosch and have been involved in a range of impactful environmental projects across Africa. My work has included supporting feasibility studies for carbon sequestration projects in Uganda and South Africa, contributing to project preparation grants in Rwanda, and helping develop ecosystem-based adaptation protocols in Mozambique. These experiences have strengthened my ability to conduct rigorous research, perform data collection and analysis, and write high-quality technical documents that meet the needs of both clients and communities. I bring a combination of field experience—such as soil sampling, biomass measurement, and risk assessments—with strong research and writing skills. I’m comfortable working on diverse project components, from stakeholder engagement to developing documentation like PIFs, PPGs, logframes, and CRVCAs. What sets me apart is my ability to combine technical depth with clear communication and a collaborative approach. I enjoy contributing to work that makes a meaningful impact, and I take pride in delivering thoughtful, well-researched outputs that support climate resilience and sustainable development.
