July 1, 2025 - PresentDesigned, programmed and playtested a short survival horror game for PC using Unity 2022; designed and implemented all systems & mechanics, including first-person movement & interaction system, enemy AI navigation behavior, 4 item mechanics, and an inventory system; designed and implemented two separate maze levels, including 4 major environmental puzzles, and over 30 environmental assets & animations.

September 1, 2024 - May 1, 2025Led various teams within a larger team of 17 students to design and complete a beginner-friendly 2D multiplayer fighting game for PC in Unreal Engine 5 that was shown off at PAX East 2025. Designed and implemented 2 fully playable characters, including combat system design, moveset design with 11 unique moves per character, over 50 character animations, and combat loot tweaking & balance. Designed & implemented a workflow & Blueprint Animation Notifies tools for translating finished character animations into attacks, including hitbox manipulation, projectile creation, and player state changing tools. Organized and collected playtesting data from 3 tournaments with a combined total of 34 players.

February 1, 2023 - May 1, 2023Led a team of 4 students to design and complete a hybrid card-based tile-building tabletop game. Designed core game mechanics, including the game's rules, card interactions, and 15 varieties of game cards and 7 game tiles, each with a unique active or passive effect. Directed playtesting sessions and analyzed test data.
