Cory was born in 1985 in Oklahoma City. He started playing piano in the 5th grade and gradually learned to play more and more instruments. He started recording his own music at 15 years old and graduated from Academy of Recording Arts in OKC for audio production and engineering at 18. He has also been performing in live bands since age 16 and currently plays multiple instruments in the band The Grown Ups. He met writer/director/actor Adam Hampton in 2011 and has since worked with him on many projects like "The Unusual Calling of Charlie Christmas", "Rough Cut", and "Play It Loud".
